Methow Trails hosts family-friendly snowshoe tours on selected Saturdays throughout the winter. Local volunteers lead tours that focus on winter ecology, wildlife and tracks, snow science and more. Methow Trails ski trail passes or a Methow Trails snowshoe trail pass ($5) are required for each person.
Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis, no reservations. Email Methow Trails at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Sponsored by Methow Trails, the US Forest Service, and Atlas Snowshoes.
Tours begin at 11:00 am and last 90-120 minutes, depending on conditions.

The Methow Valley has endless terrian for snowshoeing. Whether you are trying snowshoeing for the first time, or you are interested in building your skills, Methow Trails can provide you with "groomed" snowshoe trails, guided snowshoe outings or recommendations on backcountry excursions.
The Methow Trails signed snowshoe trails have something for all abilities - gentle paths that meander through cedar forests (Basecamp Loop) or higher-elevation, scenic outings at Sun Mountain (Rader Creek).
